The most valuable fiction film of the decade was considered ‘Mullholland Drive’, signed David Lynch.
Cristian Mungiu’s film, ‘4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days’, a film that won the big prize at Cannes in 2007, ranked 7th in the aforementioned top, scoring the same as the superproduction ‘The Lord of the Rings’ directed by Peter Jackson.
The other places in the ranking are occupied in order by the productions: ‘There Will Be Blood’ directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (ranking 2nd), ‘Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind’ by Michael Gondry (3th), ‘Brokeback Mountain’ by Ang Lee (4th), ‘No County for Old Men’ by brothers Joel and Ethan Coen, the same score as ‘Zodiac’ by David Fincher (5th), ‘Yi Yi’ by Edward Yang (6th), ‘Spirited Away’ by Hayao Miyazaki (7th), ‘United 93′ by Paul Greengrass, the same score as ‘Y Tu Mama Tambien’ by Alfonso Cuaron (9th0 and ‘Sideways’ by Alexander Payne.
