Loading ...Leader of the Social Democrat Euro-parliamentarians Adrian Severin takes part in the annual meeting of the Socialist foreign ministers from the European Union member states on Sunday, in Brussels.
Attending the meeting are the President of the European Socialists Party, Poul Nyrup Rasmussen and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy and Security, Catherine Ashton.
“The meeting’s goal is to discuss with the Spanish Foreign Minister, Miguel Angel Moratinos, representing the EU Rotating Presidency and with the High Representative Mrs. Catherine Ashton the Union’s strategy in the field of foreign policy and security for the following six months and in perspective”, Adrian Severin told on Saturday.
The Romanian EMP participates in Brussels as Vice-president of the Group of European democrats and socialists – in charge with the foreign policy and with European security issues.
