Loading ...The Qatari delegation participating in the consultations was headed by Abdullah Al Rumayhi, assistant to the Qatari Foreign Affairs Minister. The agenda included relevant topics for the Romanian-Qatari relationship development stage, at political, economic and sectoral level, as well as an exchange of views on common interest topics of the international agenda and of the regional situation.
Likewise, they approached the stage of the relationship between the EU and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf as well as the role of the two countries in actuating these relationships.
During the visit, the Romanian dignitary also held talks with Muhammad Bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of State for. Energy and Industry Affairs, and with Ibrahim Al Ibrahim, advisor to the QatariEmir for economic issues and Secretary of State of the General Secretariat for Development Planning.
The approached aspects referring to the identification and evaluation of the possibilities to extend and diversify bilateral relations in the field of energy, of investments and cooperation, of labour force specialized in the field.
The Romanian delegation also had a meeting with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Qatar, managed by Ahmad Al Kawar, member of the Chamber’s Management Board.
