‘Each member of the PSD, who is delegated to the Congress, can apply to any position under the current Statute. There cannot be applied candidacies under a hypothesis that can be approved or not by the Congress and there cannot be accepted a mere list of people, as the law on political parties itself does not allow such a thing, since each and every citizens who wants to run for a position inside PSD needs to have an application to include a statement saying he/she intends to run – as a guarantee of his/hers consent,’ Dragnea specified.
As regards the position of Prime Vice President, Dragnea specified that there can not be submitted applications for this position, in the context it does not exist in the current Statute of the PSD. Liviu Dragnea specified that the filing of applications will be made individually, with every candidate to give a statement personally, in which to say he wants to run for president, secretary general or for any other position stipulated in the current Statute of PSD.
