The above-mentioned event is organized by the Ministry of Justice of Sweden, together with the Vienna-based International Organization for Migration and with the support of the European Commission and of the 2008 programme on preventing and struggling against criminality.
According to the release mentioned before, the meeting aims at applying the provisions of the Action Oriented Paper, adopted by the European Council in 2009, taken up again in the declaration on “trafficking in human beings,” adopted in October 2009, with a view to consolidating the international dimension of the European Union referring to the action against trafficking in human beings.
