Sen. Titus Corlatean attending meeting of PACE Sub-committee on Middle East

The chairman of the Romanian Senate’s Committee for Foreign Policy, the Social Democrat Titus Corlatean, on Thursday and Friday, has been attending the meeting of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) Sub-committee on the Middle East, taking place in Ismir, Turkey.

According to a release, the meeting represents a preparatory stage of the Tripartite Forum including members of Israeli Knesset, of the Palestinian Legislative Council and the PACE.
On this special occasion, the participants are approaching aspects of the political situation in the Middle East, and particularly aspects related to the developments in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the source reads. PACE new president Turkish MP Mevlut Cavusoglu is to open the works.
