Bogdan Ciuca, PC: Constitution cannot be modernized to spite or please someone

16 martie 2010

Information in English

Vice-chairman of the Conservative Party (PC) Bogdan Ciuca opines that the amendments to the fundamental law of the state should be made efficiently and democratically, not „to spite or please someone.”

„The Constitution but also the state institutions must not be modernized in haste, they must be modernized soundly. There are things that do not change every day and this is why they must not be done at random. Changes must be made efficiently and emocratically. They cannot be made either to spite or to please someone and the less so to spite a political party,” an release quotes Bogdan Ciuca as saying on Monday.

The Conservatives’ delegation to attend the consultations with President Traian Basescu at the Cotroceni Palace on Monday afternoon will include PC chairman Daniel Constantin, spokesman for the above-mentioned political group Bogdan Ciuca and Deputy Sergiu Andon.
