Loading ...The ruling Democratic-Liberal Party (PD-L) is advocating Romania’s switchover to a single-chamber parliament and constitutional revision, PD-L chief Emil Boc told journalists at the end of consultations on Monday with President Traian Basescu.
‘PD-L is supporting the immediate implementation of the 2009 referendum on cutting MP seats and switching over to a single-chamber Parliament. PD-L also believes that the revision of the Constitution should be continued so that a package of coherent proposals to improve the Romanian State may be ready for the referendum on the revision of the Constitution,’ said Prime Minister Boc.
