The turnover for the market services to the population hiked 4.9 percent and 8.4 percent respectively against the previous month, both as gross series and as adjusted series by the number of working days and seasonality.
The rising turnover for market services to the population was mainly generated by activities carried out by travel agencies and tour operators, which gained 22.2 percent.
Compared to January 2009, the turnover of motor vehicle and motorcycle trade dropped by 29.4 percent as gross series and by 29.2 percent as adjusted series by the number of working days and seasonality.
Market services to the population posted a 7-percent higher turnover this January as gross series compared to January 2009, and a 4.8-percent higher turnover as adjusted series by the number of working days and seasonality against the same period last year.
