„In the coming ten years, national companies will be running an aggressive investment program of 42.8 billion euros; we asked the managers to look more closely at the local industry and keep their eyes open to Romanian producers,” said Videanu, who added that „the business milieu is the most active part of Romanian society and therefore the government has the obligation to set in place a stable, predictable, clear and efficient framework.”
Minister Videanu on Thursday was on a working visit to Buzau County on which occasion he discussed with representatives of over 20 private companies, which are national leaders in various industries.
Attending the meeting were manufacturers of electrical equipment, the plastics, metallurgy and other industries, who presented the problems they face in their day-to-day business. Minister Adrian Videanu promised to support the national industry under competitive terms.
